Living room<br><br>The main objective was to create a modern and at the same time cosy interior of a city apartment. Our clients - a very nice family of three: a couple and their daughter. According to the layout of the apartment, all common spaces – the living room, the kitchen and the dining room -  have their windows oriented to the north. Therefore, the main priority was to solve the problem of poor natural lighting.

The main objective was to create a modern and at the same time cosy interior of a city apartment. Our clients - a very nice family of three: a couple and their daughter. According to the layout of the apartment, all common spaces – the living room, the kitchen and the dining room - have their windows oriented to the north. Therefore, the main priority was to solve the problem of poor natural lighting.

Living room<br><br>In addition, since the apartment is located in a building with comparatively low ceilings, there was also a task of maximizing the space not only horizontally but also vertically. Both problems were elegantly solved by our designer through the use of a single dark stretch ceiling with a mirror effect, starting in a well-lit area of the hall, and extending into the dimly lit area of the common rooms.

In addition, since the apartment is located in a building with comparatively low ceilings, there was also a task of maximizing the space not only horizontally but also vertically. Both problems were elegantly solved by our designer through the use of a single dark stretch ceiling with a mirror effect, starting in a well-lit area of the hall, and extending into the dimly lit area of the common rooms.

Dining room<br><br>Thus, the northern part of the apartment obtained more light through the west window, and the space was maximized. The desired level of comfort is achieved by using a monochrome colour scheme in a warm palette and via modern interpretation - by the contrast of light and dark surfaces.

Kitchen<br><br>As the apartment is on the 24th floor and it has a beautiful panoramic view of the city, the city theme has become an element of the design, particularly in the teen room. The fragments of urban landscapes were embodied in the design of the room, and the window sill transformed into a cosy couch, where one can sit and dream, while enjoying the magnificent panorama of the city.<br>We are thankful to our clients for an interesting and fruitful cooperation.
